Submission time has been adjusted to 13:00 (1pm) CEST.
Criteria:
- EthCC Hack 2022 will feature three panels of judges.
- Each panel will see one third of the teams present to them, representing a total of 10-15 presentations for each panel to watch.
- Submissions are due at 13:00 CEST.
- Presentations will begin at 13:30 CEST.
- Each team will have 10 minutes to present their project: rationale, smart contract (if applicable), and a user experience and/or user interface demo.
- You can have as many presenters as you want for your hack.
- The goal is to identify the top 2 projects for each stream based on the following criteria:
- Innovation
- How innovative is this hack? Does it break new ground, or repeat other projects before it?
- Technical
- An assessment of the technical aspects you were able to see and discuss during the presentation.
- Design
- Does the hack offer a nice user experience? Does the user interface look nice? Even if it’s only a prototype, we all recognize good design is paramount to onboarding more people.
- Use Case Sustainability
- Many DeFi projects and so-called DeFi 2.0 projects have failed because of unsustainable use cases and tokenomics. How sustainable is this hack?
- Each presentation will be scored for each category on a scale of 1 to 10.
- The three panels will come together to debrief and discuss the top scoring hacks from both rooms. At this time, we will select a “Best in Show” project regardless of stream.
- Then we will have the winning teams present in front of everyone downstairs on -2.
- For your bounties, we will work with the sponsors to identify winners as quickly as possible and notify everyone of the results.
